How to Configure a Zebra Zm400 Printer

Connect appropriate network cable to the Zebra printer. Depending on the type of network you have, you will use either a standard networking cable, a twinaxial cable or a coaxial cable. Be sure that you use the correct networking cable for your network by checking with your IT staff
Install drivers. Each computer that will need to print to the Zebra printer will need to have the drivers installed on it. The drivers came on the installation CDs that accompanied the printer and can be accessed by placing the installation CD into your computer and running the 'setup.exe' file. If you do not have access to the installation discs, you can download the correct drivers from Zebra's website.
Run a test print. Once the printer is connected and the print drivers have been installed, run a test print to make sure that the connection is correct and that the printer is operational. If the test print is printed correctly, you have completed the installation process. If the test print did not print, re-check the network cable connections to make sure that the correct cables were used and that the cabling has a secure connection to the printer.
