How to Override a Toner Cartridge Chip in an HP Color LaserJet 1600 Printer

Go to the 1600 printer's control panel and press the right direction button in the main menu for the System Setup option, then press 'Select' to go to the System Setup.
Push the right arrow button again in the System Setup menu to go to the 'Print Quality' option and press select.
Go to the 'Replace supplies' command by pressing right and then 'Select' once more. The next screen that you go to should be at the printer's default setting of 'Stop at out.'
Press the right arrow button one last time to go to the setting 'Override out' and press 'Select' to change the setting from 'Stop at out' to 'Override out.'
Push the 'Select' button a final time to end the process and return to the main menu. The printer is now set to override the cartridge chip's program to stop printing.
