How to Reset Lexmark Ink Cartridge Memory

Place the refilled cartridge or cartridges into your printer. The front casing of Lexmark printers typically lifts up to reveal the cartridge housing.
Launch the 'Printer Solution Center' software that came with your Lexmark printer drivers. If you are unaware of its location, search Windows for 'Printer Solution Center' by clicking the 'Start' menu and typing it into the search field.
Click the 'Maintenance' tab in the Printer Solution Center.
Click on the 'Install a new printer cartridge' option.
Click 'Next' until you see the 'Print the Alignment page' window.
Click the 'Print' button to print an alignment test page.
Repeat this process if the Lexmark printer still does not recognize the ink cartridge or cartridges as refilled. If the cartridge is not recognized, you will be alerted with an error message.
