How to Install the HP PSC 1401 All

Download the printer driver from HP's website. You can find a link to the download in the 'Resources' section of this article. Select your Windows operating system from the drop-down menu and click 'Next.'
Click the link 'Driver' and then select the option 'Download.' Click 'Save' and select the option to download to your 'Desktop.' Click 'Save' to initiate the download. Make a note of the folder name so you can easily find it on your desktop.
Double-click the folder you downloaded in Step No. 2 on your desktop. Double-click the file in the folder that ends in .exe. Accept the default location to save the files and click 'Next.' Wait for the Install Wizard window to open.
Follow the prompts in the Install Wizard. Select 'Full Installation.' This will install the driver and allow you to use all the features available on the HP PSC 1401 all-in-one printer.
