How to Print From a Digital Camera to a Photo Printer
Determine how you want to connect to your printer. There are four main options: Pictbridge USB, Bluetooth, camera dock and memory card. Steps 2 through 5 explain each option. Proceed to Step 6 after you have connected appropriately.
Connect with Pictbridge USB. This is for cameras and printers that have USB connections. Simply turn both your printer and camera on and connect them using a USB cable.
Discover using Bluetooth. If your printer supports USB or compact flash, you can hook up a Bluetooth wireless printer adapter. Install your adapter and discover your printer using a Bluetooth device.
Dock your camera. Some printers have built-in docks while others allow you to connect docked cameras using the Pictbridge USB. If the printer has a built-in dock, you are already connected once you are docked.
Insert your memory card. Check to see if your printer supports your memory card type. Then simply remove it from your camera and insert it into your printer.
Select a picture to print once you are connected. Scroll through using the preview screen or print an index and look up the number of the picture you want to print.
Print your photo. Either press the print button or print from your Bluetooth device and wait for your photo to print out.
