Turn the printer on. Open the main cover mechanism, and pull out any printer cartridges in the print sled. Close the cover.
Hold down the 'Power' button for five seconds to turn the printer off. Remove any cables connected to the printer, including the power cable. Let the printer sit for one minute.
Reconnect the power cord. Turn the printer back on, raise the cover, and replace the ink cartridges. Connect the USB cable to the printer. Your printer is now in its factory default configuration.
