How to Use the Dell 3010cn Printer With a Mac

Connect the Dell 3010cn to a lower power source and power the device on. The power cable connects into a power port, located at the rear of the printer.
Insert the USB data cable into the USB port on the back of the printer (found near the power port), then plug the opposite end of the cable into one of the USB ports n the Mac.
Launch the program you want to print form and wait for the software to completely load onto the screen.
Choose 'File,' 'Open,' then select the document you wish to print.
Click 'File,' 'Print' and the printer display option loads onto the screen. Select the number of copies you want, then click the printer selection pull-down menu and choose the connected Dell 3010cn.
Select 'OK' an the Dell printer produces the selected document.
