How to Change a Samsung Cartridge (7 Steps)

Turn the printer's power off. The power button is located on the control panel on the top of the printer, on the right side.
Open the printer's top cover by pressing the top cover lever, which is located on the bottom side of the top cover.
Lift the cover all of the way open.
Locate the toner cartridge. It will be right in the center of the printer and has a handle on the top of it. Grab the handle and pull the cartridge out.
Hold the replacement cartridge at its side and gently rock it back and forth. This will help to distribute the toner equally throughout the cartridge.
Remove the paper cover from the top of the cartridge.
Insert the replacement cartridge into the printer and close the printer's top cover.
