How to Install the Download for the Samsung ML

Access the Samsung Support site (http://www.Samsung.com/us/support) and search for model number ML-1740 to view the downloads and drivers for this laser printer.
Click the Downloads tab that appears directly below the laser printer's title. Select the Driver sub-option to access the available software downloads for the printer.
Click the EXE image icon for your computer's operating system to download the Samsung ML-1740 driver that is suitable for your computer.
Select the Save action to download and store the ML-1740's print driver installation application to your hard drive. Once the installation application is saved to your computer, it will be accessible from its file location.
Open the installation application from the file location on your hard drive to run the download installation.
Select your language in the drop-down bar that will be displayed at the bottom of the Samsung driver installation welcome screen.
Click Next to begin the driver download installation process.
Click the Finish button once all the ML-1740's components have been installed.
