How to Make an Old Printer Wireless (4 Steps)

Insert the wireless print server installation disc. An installation wizard will start up.
Navigate through the installation wizard (by pressing 'Next') until you come to a page where you configure your wireless settings. Enter the wireless network name (SSID) and the wireless security key, and then continue with the installation wizard by pressing 'Next.'
Connect the printer to the wireless print server by connecting a USB cord from the back of the printer to the USB port on the back of the wireless print server. If you have a printer with a parallel port, connect the USB end of the USB to Parallel convertor into the wireless print server, and connect the other end into the parallel port on the back of the printer.

Insert the printer's driver CD into the CD drive of your computer, and then follow through the installation wizard that starts up to install the printer's driver. For older printers, Windows may use a generic print driver.
