How to Set Up a Virtual Printer on a Linux/Unix System

Click the main menu, then load 'System Settings.' System Settings will be located in different places depending on your Linux distribution, so consult your user documentation if you are unsure.
Double-click 'Printers.'
Click 'Add,' then 'Add Printer/Class.'
Click 'Next' when the wizard appears and select 'Other printer type.' Select 'Virtual Printer' from the options and click 'Next.'
Select 'Generic,' then 'Postscript Printer' and click 'Next.' These options will become available only after you have installed your virtual printer.
Enter the name of your virtual printer. Keep clicking 'Next' until the end of setup, then 'Finish.'
