How to Connect a Printer With Cmd.exe

Click the 'Start' button in the lower-left corner of the screen.
Type 'cmd' without quotes, then press 'Enter.'
Type 'net use lpt1: '\computer\printer' /persistent:yes' without quotes around the outside of the command. Replace 'computer' and 'printer' with the actual shared network computer and printer name.
Press 'Enter.' Enter the shared computer's username and password, if prompted.
Type 'exit' without quotes, then press 'Enter.'
