How to Find the IP Address of My HP 4100N Printer
Find the printer's control panel. Press the right 'Menu' button until the 'EIO' menu appears.
Press the right 'Item' key until you see the 'CFG Network' option. Use the 'Value' keys to change the setting to 'Yes.'
Press the right 'Item' key until you see the 'CFG TCP/IP' option. Use the 'Value' key to change the option to 'Yes.'
Press the right 'Item' arrow until you see the 'DHCP' option. Use the 'Value' keys to change the setting to 'No.'
Select the right 'Item' arrow key until you see 'IP Byte 1.' Use the 'Value' arrow key to change the setting to the first number in the IP address, then click 'Select' to accept the setting. Repeat the process with 'IP Byte 2,' 'IP Byte 3' and 'IP Byte 4.'
Press the right 'Menu' button until the 'Information' menu appears. Press the right 'Item' arrow until the 'Print configuration page' option appears. Press the 'Select' button to send the configuration page to the printer. Wait for the configuration page to print, then look at the TCP/IP settings to make sure the settings are correct.
