How to Find Where the Ink Cartridge Is on a Canon PIXMA MP480 Printer

Make sure the printer is plugged in and turned on.
Grasp the front top of the printer. This is the Scanning Unit Cover.
Lift the Scanning Unit Cover gently until you hear a click. The cover will remain open by itself.
Wait while the cartridge holder moves from the left to the center of the printer. The ink cartridges are located in the cartridge holder.
